*Gusset insert is a triangle fabric sewn into the crotch or other areas of the garment. It's designed to enhance mobility, durability, and comfort by reducing strain on the seams and providing extra room where needed. A gusset strengthens the pants' crotch by redistributing stress points on a seam, so there are no longer 4 seams coming together at a single point that sustains a lot of movement. If you've ever ripped the butt of your pants, it's probably because your pants didn't have a gusset.
