Loom woven fabric with non-skid felt back. These designs are woven on pedal looms, a method introduced by the Spanish in the 16th century but adapted by indigenous communities to preserve their textile heritage. 3 background tones; dark red, marigold and hunter green, with multicolored Rarámuri - Tarahumara design.

Loom woven is a lightweight 100-120 g/m2 woven textile. Due to the weaving process, the fabric has small imperfections. Back is synthetic felt, doesn't shrink after washing.

Care: Machine wash, with cold/warm water, do not bleach, do not wring, hang to dry, do not tumble dry, low setting iron as necessary.

We try our best to portray the colors as they look, however, due to camera/screen different resolutions some colors may appear slightly different from what they are, if you have a hard-to-match color for your project please ask.
